Polly Bergen

As reported by his own agent, last Saturday he died Polly bergen at his home in the US state of Connecticut at the age of 84. Although for many it is not a familiar face, the actress worked in a great number of important films.

Her first job in the world of cinema led her to lend her voice for a clearly pugilistic film, El idolo de Barro, by Mark Robson (1949), after several roles in productions of little fame, her opportunity came with a role secondary in the film Fort Bravo, by John Sturges (1953).

He also participated in different comic films, with the famous couple Jerry lewis - Dean Martin as At war with the army, That's my boy o The crazy singer among many others. But if an important role is remembered, it is the one she had in Cape Terror, as Gregory Peck's wife.

As often happens with many actors and actresses, Polly Bergen combined different film works with television, a medium in which she continued to appear until 2012 where she had different roles in highly successful series such as The Sopranos (1999-2007) or Desperate Women (2004-2012) among others. Rest in peace.
