This Week The sequel to the eighties classic The Endless Story was announced, through spokespersons for the studios Warner Bros.
The film that would excite more than one, and that would feed the imagination of a whole generation of children (and not so much), will have its new version, adapted to modern times, with what, we believe, will be worked hard on the effects specials.
The film, originally titled The NeverEnding Story, and that had two sequels, is based on the German novel by Michael Ende, first published in 1979. The company Warner got the film rights and it did not take long to communicate his intention to shoot new versions as soon as possible.
Ende's book took place in two worlds, the real one and a fantasy world, where Sebatian, the protagonist, plunges into that impossible world in which he must help the seriously ill Infant Empress to regain her lost balance and fight against the forces of Evil.
As reported The Hollywood Reporter, Warner plans to highlight aspects of the original book that were forgotten in the previous trilogy filmic.
